The EpiLight Hair Removal System uses non-invasive light therapy to effectively and painlessly eliminate undesired hair permanently from all parts of the body. A gel and hand held unit are applied to the skin while quick pulses of light safely penetrate the skin, removing hair and impairing regrowth. When the gel is removed, much of the hair is wiped off at the same time. Remaining hairs in the treated area fall out within one to two weeks.

Treatment is customized for each patient according to hair color, texture and location on the body. Each session lasts approximately ten to thirty minutes. Side-effects may include slight redness or swelling so patients should avoid sun exposure following treatment.
